2012 first rehearsal, Jan 18, weds 7-9pm

Hello Everyone and Happy New Years!

Hope you had a great holidays and joyous ring into 2012!
Just a quick reminder that rehearsals for St. Ambrose Orchestra start back up next weds (January 18) and I cannot wait to see all your faces! I'm very excited about the music for the spring as well as sharing each Wednesday evening with you all again.

Our two concerts this semester are on Wednesdays March 7 and May 2 at 7:30pm. Please mark on your calendars.  Our first concert consists of vocal opera soloists as well as 3 soloists from the St. Ambrose Orchestra.  The 2nd concert includes a premier piece specifically written for the orchestra along with Joan Trapp on the Shostakovich Piano Concerto.

Finally If you know of any percussion players or trombone players please invite them to the orchestra! We will need as many as we can get for these spring concerts.

Have a great week. See you next weds at 7pm, we'll begin with announcements.
